India: Star loses Olympics to Sony

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has won the media rights to cover the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games for India. The deal also covers the Winter Youth Games in Lausanne, also in 2020.

Star India previously held the Olympic rights.

SPNI will also carry the dedicated Olympic Channel.
