Huawei denies making a 5G TV set… possibly

Chinese cellular giant Huawei, which last week was widely reported to planning to enter the TV market with displays equipped to operate on 5G and be capable of receiving 8K signals, has declared the reports were wrong.
“We don’t do TV’s,” said an unnamed source quoted by CGTN Digital.
But then came the potential contradiction, with the source saying that “A big-screen terminal does not necessarily mean a TV.”
In other words, it is perfectly possible that Huawei IS making a 5G device that looks like a TV, works like a TV, but is a giant cellular phone.
