Fyfield appointed to BBC Commercial Holdings Board

Mai Fyfield will join the BBC Commercial Holdings Board as a non-executive director on August 1st.
Mai, who most recently worked as Chief Commercial & Chief Strategy Officer for Sky Group is set to join the board on a three-year term. Her appointment fills a vacant role following Sir Howard Stringer’s departure last year. Prior to her role as CCO/CSO of Sky, Mai worked for Sky for nearly 20 years in a variety of senior roles across strategy, commercial and regulation and was part of the senior leadership team for a decade.
Non-executive Chair, and BBC Board Member for Wales, Dame Elan Closs Stephens, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mai to the BBC Commercial Holdings Board. Mai has extensive experience in this industry and with her other non-executive directorships, Mai will bring further challenge and support to our strategic direction.”
