Audiences to enjoy 4K content on-demand on Mediacorp’s Toggle

Thrilled by the stunning visual display of Mediacorp’s LIVE 4K broadcast of the 54th National Day Parade (NDP 2019)? Now you can relive the celebration highlights, plus catch a slew of other titles on-demand in Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution, as Mediacorp showcases its 4K catalogue via its over-the-top platform Toggle.

Toggle’s 4K Content Catalogue

Following the first-ever LIVE content delivery of NDP 2019 to an excited crowd at SAFRA Punggol as well as Toggle users invited to a closed trial of the event, Mediacorp has now made available highlights of NDP 2019 to allow viewers with 4K-ready or UHD Smart TV sets to re-experience the cinematic visual treat.

At the same time, audiences will also be able to catch other programmes in stunning crystal-clear images with enhanced visual details and colour intensity on Toggle. This includes Toggle Originals like Love at Cavenagh Bridge and VIC to documentaries like CNA’s Tipping Point, with more titles to be added over time. Mediacorp’s 4K Content Production Roadmap

And as part of efforts to offer better quality content and enhanced viewing experiences for audiences, Mediacorp will continue to add to its array of 4K content by producing new programmes in UHD. This year, fans can look forward to the highly anticipated Chinese drama All Is Well, where the twin plots were produced and will be released in 4K resolution on Toggle from 1 October 2019.

Over the next two years, Mediacorp will also commit to producing another 100 hours of 4K content annually, and double that to 200 hours per year by 2024.
