560 Media to collect Fremantle’s retransmission rights

560 Media, the UK-based global rights collection agency, has signed a secondary television rights management deal with global entertainment powerhouse, Fremantle. The deal includes the management of retransmission rights, private copy levies, educational copying and public performance, amongst other rights, for their UK based distribution business and many of its local production offices around the world.

The global secondary rights market is worth over £500 million per annum.  John O’Sullivan, CEO and Founder of 560 Media, has over 25 years of experience in managing secondary television rights and has overseen the safe collection and delivery of hundreds of millions of pounds to content owners worldwide.
