Never.no announces latest audience engagement platform Bee-On at IBC

September 13, 2019

Never.no, the audience engagement specialist, has announced the release of Bee-On, an advanced audience engagement platform that gives broadcasters, brands and advertising agencies the tools to engage with their audiences like never before – integrating social media engagement, dynamic graphics and real-time data into broadcast, digital and OTT content.

With over 20 years’ experience within interactive TV, Never.no has developed Bee-On to bridge the gap between content and the audience. Including a feature-set seen in Never.no’s award-winning STORY platform, Bee-on pushes the boundaries of audience engagement with the introduction of an advanced content moderation engine. Not only does it filter and manage social content – images, comments, video, live data – but it also offers scalable live polls, competitions and personalised responses across social networks and delivered into live or pre-recorded content.

“Bee-On represents the hard working Never.no ethos, both its staff and the platform itself, delivering so much more than the core features it offers. With Bee-On, we’re extending our expertise and services to our clients across the globe, to help broadcasters, brands and advertising agencies connect with their audience and extend the lifespan of their campaigns or programming – thereby boosting engagement across multiple channels,” said Never.no CEO Scott Davies.

Improved API integration provides extensive access to a range of social platforms, including key features on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. This enables Bee-On users to access a wider audience and deliver content in conjunction with live programming to extend engagement, or as part of a campaign to increase brand awareness and monetise content. Authorised API access and the secure content moderation engine ensure polls, competitions and audience engagement all comply with strict platform and GDPR regulations – maintaining safe and secure interactions.

Finally, the advanced HTML-based graphics rendering offers off-the-shelf and customisable graphics templates that can be integrated into programming and across social networks. Never.no’s new personalised response and messenger bot utilises the graphics engine to deliver automated dialogues, including video and image messaging for marketing or personalised audience engagement alongside broadcasting and streamed content.

“The ways in which we consume content across platforms is continuously changing, so we’ve built Bee-On with a sophisticated back end that can support evolution within audience engagement. As content providers and brands look to create captivating content, Bee-On’s enhanced UI and feature-set will help produce captivating programming, enhance interactions and deliver personalised content,” continued Davies.
