ITV has announced that wrestling fans in the UK will be able to watch AEW Dynamite on its channels when the new weekly show launches in October.

ITV will show full episodes on Sunday mornings on ITV4 (some 4 days after it has aired in the US), as well as a highlight show on Monday nights on ITV.

Of course the scheduling isn’t ideal for wrestling fans. Whether the product is considered a sport, or a drama, or both, results and storyline revelations are a big part of the lure – and 4 days is plenty of time for fans to seek out spoilers, be it purposely or accidentally.

AEW, however, has added that AEW Dynamite will air live in the UK as well – but at a price.Company owner Tony Khan tweeted: “AEW Dynamite episodes will stream live in UK on @FiteTV for $4.99 month/subscription or $2.99/episode. We can’t broadcast live free to air in the UK due to different ad break schedules than in US. ITV + ITV4 will show free to air replays making our show available to most UK fans!”
