Canada: HBO Max content for Bell Media’s Crave

Bell Media has agreed for the exclusive Canadian rights to original series made for the upcoming US streaming platform HBO Max.
The agreeement with Warner Bros will secure a of number of titles for Bell’s streaming paltfrom Crave.
The deal would seem to confirms that HBO Max isn’t headed to Canada as a stand-alone service when it launches in the US in May 2020.
The Crave subscription price won’t be raised as part of the new agreement, Bell Media president Randy Lennox confirmed, speaking to The Canadian Press.
The agreement only covers output from Warner’s television production operations.
