XITE music app on Sky Q

November 7, 2019

By Nik Roseveare

Sky Q is bringing the best music apps together with the launch of the new XITE app –  an interactive music video platform where users can discover, curate and play music videos, all in one place.

With the XITE music video app, music fans can experience a personalised video experience on the big screen. Customers can customise their own playlist by selecting a style, era or mood and create their perfect music video mix, as well as searching for favourite videos or specific artists. XITE has a full music video catalogue through agreements with all major and top independent music labels and distributors.

With the Freemium model of XITE, no subscription or login is required so customers can dive straight in to a world of music videos and all the songs they love, or quickly and easily upgrade online to Premium for an ad-free experience.

Liz Wynn, Director of Sky TV said: “This is brilliant news for customers, Sky Q brings together all the music you love, all in one place, with the new XITE app right next to Spotify and You Tube on the big screen.”

XITE will begin rolling out to all Sky Q customers immediately and will be available in the Music and Apps section over the next few weeks.
