ESPN Player tips off NCAA Basketball season

ESPN Player will bring full coverage of the 2019/20 NCAA Basketball season to fans in Europe and Africa. The live and on-demand sports streaming service will give subscribers the opportunity to watch more than 2,000 top college basketball games via the ESPN Player website and app.

ESPN Player will provide fans with a seamless viewing experience on the go and whenever it suits them. The app also enables fans to stream content to a big screen via Google Chromecast and to Apple TV devices via AirPlay.

Subscribers have access to four 24/7 ESPN channels – ESPNU, The SEC Network, The ACC Network and The Longhorn Network – direct from the US. Game previews, original programmes, analysis and predictions will all be available to fans around the clock.

The College Basketball season tipped off this week as the four top ranked teams in the nation paired up for blockbuster opening games live on ESPN Player. Second ranked Kentucky overcame number-one ranked Michigan State, while fourth ranked Duke beat third ranked Kansas.

ESPN Player is also the home of the NCAA Tournament, AKA March Madness in EMEA, including the Final Four and the National Championship game. The journey from Selection Sunday, when the competing teams are revealed, to the final, includes 67 games, which will all be available to view live and on-demand.
