Big Cat appoints Hopkin as Communications Director

Birmingham based integrated marketing agency Big Cat has appointed Heather Hopkin to the role of Communications Director as interim maternity cover and to further strengthen its senior team.
Hopkin joins the agency after an 11 year stretch in London at ROAD Communications where she led a team working on a number of health and behaviour change campaigns, including Scope Healthcare, William Demant, Beiersdorf, SCA Hygiene and Unilever.
Hopkin will be joining the senior team in managing Big Cat’s portfolio of clients, including the recent addition of Hammerson (Bullring Shopping Centre), alongside other established household names in retail and hospitality including Mitchell & Butlers and award-winning TV chef Cyrus Todiwala’s latest restaurant launch, Tandem.
Hopkin said: “Being originally from the Midlands, I’m thrilled to be joining an agency with such a strong presence in the region and at a time when Birmingham is seeing so much exciting change. I can’t wait to get stuck in and am looking forward to being part of such a diverse and talented team.”
In recent months Big Cat has taken on a number of new senior level hires as part of its growth strategy and expanding portfolio of clients.
