Pluto TV claims 20m users

November 15, 2019

Pluto TV, the ad-supported streaming service acquired by Viacom earlier this year, has reported it now has approximately 20 million monthly active users.

Some 3,500 brands advertised on Pluto TV during September, which Viacom CFO Wade Davis said was the highest-ever revenue month for the service. He also said, during a Viacom Q4 earnings call, that total viewing minutes tripled year over year during the month.

Pluto TV recently revealed that it was adding three new channels from CBS giving users access to live local news streams from CBSN, New York and CBSN Los Angeles, as well as entertainment news streaming channel ET Live.
