Virgin Media to show Amazon Premier League in 4K

Virgin Media customers will be able to watch all of Amazon Prime Video’s 20 Premier League matches in December via their TV set top box – with some matches available in 4K.

Amazon Prime Video, which is the only way football fans can watch Premier League fixtures broadcast next week (December 3rd- 5th) and on Boxing Day, launched on Virgin Media in July.

Virgin Media customers that have signed up for Prime Video can be view all the games through the integrated Amazon Prime Video app on the Virgin TV V6 set top box which supports 4K programming. The fixtures to be aired in 4K are, at time of writing, TBC.
