netgem.tv: 12 ultrafast fibre deals

In less than six months, netgem.tv has signed partnership agreements with 12 Ultrafast Fibre providers in the UK offering its TV and Streaming service to a reach of over a quarter of a million of the UK homes, complementing their access to gigabit-enabled fibre broadband.

This distribution acceleration comes some two weeks after the addition of Premier Sports channels to the netgem.tv inclusive premium content line up – which the platform suggests confirms the appetite from viewers and operators alike for a ‘skinny bundle’ entertainment package.

netgem.tv’s library incorporates over 100 live TV channels including the nation’s favourites such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 as well as a complete Freeview Play catch-up including 20,000+ hours of content. In addition, netgem.tv gives access to an array of streaming services including Amazon Prime Video, hayu, Rakuten TV, YouTube, and many more.

The 12 Ultrafast Fibre Internet service providers (ISPs) who have entered a distribution partnership with netgem.tv are WightFibre, Pure Broadband, Air Broadband, Pure Telecom, Gigaclear, Lilaconnect, VX Fibre, Cambridge Fibre, Pure Fibre, Voneus, Jersey Telecom and Origin Broadband.

They have signed agreements with netgem.tv to bundle the TV & Streaming service with their Fibre Broadband plans starting as low as £25 a month for the package.

“netgem.tv is committed to bringing a new era of connectivity and value to all,” said Sylvain Thevenot managing director of netgem.tv. “More video clips and TV shows are being watched via Internet streaming but the experience is increasingly disjointed. Viewers are looking for choice but also simplicity in their everyday TV & Streaming experience. They also expect good value from their Fibre provider and Entertainment service. netgem.tv is there to solve this equation for them, offering Choice, simplicity, and Value.”
