Genba Digital continues to evolve the way video games are sold online

December 4, 2019

Digital distribution firm Genba Digital is evolving the way video games are being sold online after developing innovative new technology for its GENBA platform. New developments include stock availability notifications, stock reserving, self-service functionality for better visibility and planning, all housed in a fully Cloud-based environment for global scaling and optimal security.

The tech company, which specialises in third-party digital distribution, sourcing games for digital retailers to sell, has continued to evolve its technology to support the move towards Direct Entitlement in clamping down on grey market key reselling and to enhance data services to maximise sales.

Digital video games sales hit £6.8 billion in the past month and GENBA™ is helping the biggest game producers grow the industry. From DLC and virtual currency to digital PC games and subscription platforms, Genba are helping companies stay ahead of the curve and grow their user base in emerging digital games markets such as India and South East Asia.

Genba recently partnered with Ubisoft to integrate the pioneering new Silent Key Activation, which makes it easier for customers to purchase games, but also prevents games from being sold through unapproved marketplaces.
