Spain: DAZN eyes NBA rights

Sports streaming platform DAZN is in advanced discussions to acquire the NBA rights in Spain from the start of the 2020/21 season.
A deal could be worth as much as €9 million per season according to a report by sports business outlet Palco23.
Telefónica has held NBA rights in the ocuntry for for 25 years, airing games via its Movistar+ pay-TV service.
DAZN already holds NBA broadcast rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
