Global media business Studio71, a Red Arrow Studios company, has hired Kristin Mason as SVP, Head of US Sales. Based in Studio71’s New York office and reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Matt Crowley, Mason will be working closely with brands and agencies to continue to grow Studio71’s US advertising business.
Mason will be responsible for monetisation of Studio71’s premium brand safe media offering, which reaches 115 million US video viewers monthly, including properties like TheSoul Publishing, Donut Media, Fine Bros and Vat19; and will be spearheading sales for branded content and influencer marketing programs for Studio71 talent such as Michelle Khare, Kyler and Mad, the LaBrant Family and Matt Steffanina.
Prior to joining Studio71, Mason was most recently Chief Revenue Officer of The Second Shift, the marketplace that connects businesses with women who are experts in marketing, finance, sales, HR and beyond.
Crowley said: “Kristin is an important addition to our team as we continue to grow our US advertising business. Over the past 3 years, Studio71 has seen significant growth across all screens and platforms, so having Kristin’s unique strategic approach and leadership in working with clients and the sales organisation is an exciting opportunity to further service our advertising partners. We are delighted that she has joined our US sales team.
Mason added: “I am looking forward to expanding and growing Studio71’s client and agency relationships, while uncovering new ways to utilize the premium talent relationships that Studio71 is known for. I’ve watched Studio71 grow considerably over the last few years across established platforms like Youtube and CTV, and emerging opportunities like TikTok, IGTV and Podcasts. I am thrilled to join such a talented team.”
