Vevo has announced news of their 2020 Digital Upfront: Vevo Homecoming. Launching on May 20th, Vevo Homecoming celebrates the enduring power of music videos and their impact on the world of media and advertising, as they return “home” to the television screen.

Vevo’s upfront will feature an introduction from international superstar Katy Perry who recently premiered ‘Daisies,’ the first video from her forthcoming album. Perry will speak to the importance of the music video as a way of connecting with her fans, how artists are adapting to the current situation and how the music must go on.

As custodians of the music industry’s most premium video content, Vevo reaches 148M Americans every month bringing fans the world’s biggest celebrities when, where, and how they want them. And today, no screen is seeing a greater surge in Vevo viewership than the television, which has seen an increase of over 20% since March of this year with 61M viewers exclusively engaging on connected TV screens. Whether working or remaining at home, music videos have become an even more important part of how we experience and connect meaningfully with the artists we love.

Most recently, Katy released her new single ‘Daisies’, from her much-anticipated 5th studio album out August 14th on Capitol Records.
