As a result of the streaming video surge, VIZIO has seen growth in free, ad-supported TV channels and apps increase 108 per cent in April 2020 versus March as people develop new viewing habits and discover new content options.
This roll-out offers free 24-hour streaming channels and more than 600 episodes of entertainment favourites for audiences. Users can find the followng channels under the Free Channels section on the VIZIO SmartCast Home screen:
* DEAL OR NO DEAL – featuring the US version of the hit game show hosted by Howie Mandel.
* WIPEOUT – the iconic, action-packed family entertainment shows see contestants from all walks of life compete in the world’s largest and most extreme obstacle course.
* DIY DAILY – home of magnificent home restorations, garden transformations, interior design and top DIY tips with full episodes of DIY and garden shows such as Restoration Home, Restoration Man and Build a New Life in the Country.
* REEL TRUTH CRIME – houses a collection of true crime documentaries including Crime Investigation Australia, which explores some of the country’s most horrific crimes; Missing Persons Unit, a real-life Without A Trace where viewers join the search for loved ones together with the NSW Police and Australian Drug Lords, which blows the lid off Australia’s biggest-ever Class-A Drug Busts.
