The Africa Channel taps Simplestream

Simplestream, the specialist in VoD and OTT services, has announced that its end-to-end App Platform has been selected by The Africa Channel, the US channel operator, to launch a revamped Demand Africa service to complement their existing channels in the US.
Demand Africa offers a broad range of HD programming showcasing travel, lifestyle and special documentaries that represents the people, rich culture and history of Africa. The SVoD service is available across a wide range of platforms including a new website, iOS and Android devices, TVOS and FireTV, boasting features such as Download-To-Device for offline viewing and Continue Watching so users can pick up where they left off on any device and is available to watch everywhere outside of Africa.
