DTG Summit 2020 goes virtual

July 20, 2020

Future Vision, the 2020 DTG Summit, is being recast as a virtual event with global reach and scale. The free-to-attend event – which will now take place on October 7th – marks the 25th anniversary of the Digital TV Group, the centre for UK digital Television.

World-class speakers will probe the technology, business and public policy implications flowing from cutting-edge innovation across the value chain. Attendees will gain a vision for the future of television, with universality underpinned by the vital work of the DTG. In addition, attendees will be able to network with each other and interact with thought leaders and innovators as they speak on stage and showcase their products on customised stands in the virtual exhibition.

“We’re embracing the significant opportunities that virtual events offer,” said Richard Lindsay-Davies, CEO of the DTG. “As an in-person event our annual summit attracts several hundred people. Now several thousands of attendees can participate from around the world, live and on-demand.”

“Future Vision, the 2020 DTG Summit, builds on our experience of running fortnightly webinars throughout lockdown. We’re working with a state-of-the-art software platform which will deliver a rich experience for attendees and the ability for event partners to showcase their wares to a relevant and highly engaged audience.”

The full Future Vision programme and how to register will be announced soon.
