Udko joins Maestro

July 28, 2020

Maestro, the interactive video platform for creators and content owners, has announced Jordan Udko has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Revenue.

Udko joins Maestro after his previous role as Executive Vice President of Commercial Partnerships of global esports organisation Cloud9. During his tenure with Cloud9, Udko was responsible for securing major commercial partnerships with non-endemic brands including Microsoft, BMW, Puma and AT&T. The level of brand deals secured by Udko completely redefined partnerships of this kind within esports and for the first time closed the gap on the level of deals normally associated with traditional sports.

Udko joins the company at a time as it continues to experience unprecedented growth. Maestro’s interactive live streaming video platform makes it easy for creators and content owners to build meaningful relationships with their audiences by creating unforgettable digital experiences. Using a layer of interactive tools, Maestro enables brands to unlock the true potential of live streaming. Unlike platforms like Twitch or YouTube where brands or creators have to hand over their communities – along with control over revenue mechanisms and audience data – Maestro empowers brands to take control and own their community completely.

Since joining, Udko has led Maestro to sign multiple deals with companies like Pandora, FanTracks, Adweek, FanDuel, VidCon and major artists including Grammy Award-winners Tim McGraw and Melissa Etheridge. In the coming weeks, further deals will be announced with retail brands, sports organizations, record labels and other entertainment conglomerates as the company continues to empower organizations to launch their own direct-to-consumer strategies. Whether it’s an individual creator, a company creating a live extension of their brand, or a business looking to launch an interactive platform for a specific vertical, Maestro guarantees the most robust and customizable solution with the fastest time to market.

“Our core value of people being our most valuable assets continues to ring true as we scale to meet customer demand. I’m ecstatic to announce that Jordan is joining our executive team and helping to take Maestro forward into our next phase of growth,” said Ari Evans, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Jordan’s ability to help companies navigate the evolution of their messaging enabled him to set the bar for non-endemic partnerships within the esports ecosystem at Cloud9. His pulse on the future of digital experiences aligns perfectly with Maestro’s mission to grow the GDP of the creator economy wherein content brands unlock their potential by better engaging and monetizing their communities. This is exactly where Jordan’s expertise and experience will prove invaluable.”

“After spending 3 years witnessing first hand how gamers became the ultimate blueprint of how individuals can build businesses on top of their passions, Ari’s vision for Maestro took this concept and expanded it dramatically beyond gamers. Literally anyone–be it a content creator or multinational corporation–can now monetize their passion,” said Udko. “What interests me most about Maestro is how it represents the evolution of social media, turning convention on its head. The timing of the platform is spot on as brands and content creators are becoming more sophisticated with their strategies as streaming becomes fundamental to their long term success.”
