Enensys provides ASI switches to BAI Communications

Enensys Technologies, leading provider of media delivery solutions, has announced that it has delivered more than 50 of its ASIIPGuard switch product to BAI Communications for use within their DTT distribution network.

The ASIIGuard switches will be used for switching between main and backup links in the transmitter distribution network. ASIIPGuard is an autonomous switch, offering 2:1 and 3:1 switching with options for seamless TS switching as well as IP input and output.

The products have been supplied through Magna Systems & Engineering, the Australia systems integrator and reseller of Enensys, after extensive testing by BAI Communications team.

Steve Naumovski, Engineering Team Leader – Transmission Support said, “BAI Communications (BAI) purchased the Enensys ASIIPGuard product for use within its DTV network. The Enensys ASIIPGuard will be used to manage the signal switching between the main and standby inputs at particular sites. After completing a series of test evaluations, the ASIIPGuard was the only readily available product found to meet all of BAI’s requirements.”
