Amazon Original The Challenge: ETA launches Oct 30

Amazon Prime Video has announced the launch date and released the official trailer for the upcoming Spanish Amazon Original The Challenge: ETA, a docuseries that tells the history of the terrorist group ETA, and the fight of the Spanish government and the Civil Guard against them. The eight-episode docuseries will launch exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 30th.

The Challenge: ETA is a documentary series told by real people. It includes in-depth interviews with four former Presidents of the Spanish government: Felipe González, José María Aznar, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and Mariano Rajoy, who faced the terrorist organisation both politically and with police forces. It also includes the testimonies of former Lehendakaris, Garaikoetxea and Ardanza Fernando Almansa’s – former Chief of the Royal House, journalists, top officials of the Spanish military police, including Manuel Sánchez Corbi, and ex-ETA members. These testimonies narrate their most difficult and risky operations to neutralise the successive commands of an organization that caused over 800 deaths.

The docuseries is produced by Cuerdos de Atar, executively produced by Luis Velo and Guillermo Gómez and directed by Hugo Stuven.
