Masstech names Pitt Head of Sales for EMEA
November 3, 2020
Masstech has announced the appointment of Will Pitt as Head of Sales for EMEA. Pitt joins from Imagen, where he served as their Commercial Director for four and a half years.
During this time Pitt led new business sales and strategy, and was instrumental in securing landmark deals with the likes of Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), AON, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the International Cricket Council (ICC), Laureus, Alfred Dunhill, SBS Belgium, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and Badminton World Federation (BWF). Prior to Imagen, Will held roles at Globecast, BT Media & Broadcast, Geo Networks (now Zayo), and Aframe.
For Masstech, Pitt heads the EMEA Sales team to drive new growth, further strengthen the partner and reseller network, and help new and existing customers streamline processes and generate new revenue streams made possible through Kumulate, Masstech’s hybrid cloud media & content management solutions.
Pitt commented: “In sales, you have a unique opportunity, and a responsibility, to open new doors and influence and deliver new outcomes; this is what excites me. We work in one of the most exciting and progressive industries in the world and I feel privileged to be a part of it.”
Pitt is the latest addition to Masstech’s global sales team, which is led by Luc Tomasino, VP of Worldwide Sales. “We’re very excited to announce Will’s appointment to this pivotal role for Masstech,” Luc said. “EMEA is a critical region, and having Will’s passion and focus to lead the excellent regional sales team already in place, will allow us to bring our multi-award winning storage management solutions to an even wider audience. At a time when many vendors in the industry are looking to reduce their outreach provision, Masstech remains committed to building the most experienced teams in order to serve and guide our customers and partners to the highest levels.”
