CuriosityStream subs up 108%; Beyond the Spotlight premiere

CuriosityStream, the factual entertainment streaming service, has revealed it has amassed 13 million subscribers. The total number of paying global users has increased by 108 per cent year-on-year. Q3 revenue was $8.7 million (€7.3m), up from $4.8 million in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, CuriosityStream has announced it will premiere its original new series Beyond the Spotlight on November 19th.
From Executive Producer Leonardo DiCaprio and Appian Way Productions, the award-winning Stephen David Entertainment, a Banijay Group Company, and CuriosityStream, the series goes Beyond the Spotlight to explore the deep-rooted passions of people at the height of fame who are on a personal mission to change the world.
Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson, alongside his Tony Award-nominated wife LaTanya Richarsdon Jackson, fellow actor Kristen Bell, sports icons Shaquille O’Neal and Joe Namath and influencer MrBeast will feature in each of the six hour-long episodes where they will share, in their own words, what truly inspires them.
