International film festival EnergaCAMERIMAGE goes online

The 28th edition of the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography EnergaCAMERIMAGE began on November 14. For the first time in history, due to a pandemic, the event takes place online via the OTT platform. The project was implemented by Insys Video Technologies.
“EnergaCAMERIMAGE is a series of the most interesting movies available in one place during the annual festival, which this year, due to the current circumstances, had to take place virtually,” says Kazimierz Suwała, European Film Center Director at CAMERIMAGE. “The platform is available only for the duration of the event, users can purchase access to all the materials available on the website until November 21.”
Online video platform for EnergaCAMERIMAGE was created on the basis of the Insys VOD, a solution addressed to organizations that have a library of video materials and want to share it online in many monetization business models. Besides the festival movies, video materials available on the online platform also include live events such as Q&A sessions and technology seminars. Access to the website is possible after purchasing an entry card.
“The implementation for EnergaCAMERIMAGE is another example of using our Insys VOD solution for cultural events online,” says Norbert Kaczmarek, Key Account Manager at Insys Video Technologies. “An interesting feature, in this case, is geoblocking, thanks to which certain films are available only in countries selected by the organizer,” comments Kaczmarek.
