Stellify releasing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? soundtrack
November 17, 2020
Northern Ireland-based indie Stellify Media, producers of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire…? have announced the release of a 14-track album from the series, available for streaming and download via all platforms, from November 20th.
The deal was devised by Stellify with their parent company Sony Pictures Television, in conjunction with Matthew Strachan, the composer of the original Who Wants To Be A Millionaire…? musical scores. The album will feature a collection of the famous Who Wants To Be A Millionaire…? music cues, as featured in the hit ITV TV quiz show.
The original UK CD release of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire…? theme music from 20 years ago, is now a rare collector’s item, with some eBay/Amazon listings selling for hundreds of pounds.
This new album will be released through Sony Pictures Entertainment record label, Madison Gate Records, and will be the first official distribution of the series soundtrack in 20 years – and, its first ever digital release. It will feature two unreleased remixes of the Millionaire theme tune and will be available to stream and download ahead of the imminent new ITV series, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire: The Million Pound Question”, airing from the 22nd of November on ITV – a celebratory series looking back at the tension and jubilation of the seven past million pound moments from the last 20 years.
