Younge named Non-Exec Director, ITV Studios

Pat Younge has been named as the new Non-Executive Director for the ITV Studios Board. An award-winning journalist and creative leader with 30 years experience working at major broadcasters in the UK and abroad, Younge takes up the role with immediate effect.

Younge is currently the co-founder of and co-MD of Cardiff Productions, which he joined in May of this year from Sugar Films which he co-founded in 2015.  Previously, he led the BBC Television Production studio, responsible for over 2500 hours of TV programming annually across comedy, drama, entertainment, factual as well as multi-platform. Responsible for 3,000 programme makers in six bases across the UK, production from his teams  included some of the world’s biggest shows, including Strictly Come Dancing, Top Gear, Dr Who and Planet Earth.

Pat has also worked in BBC Sport and at Channel 4 and Travel Channel Media, and started his career at ITV with London Weekend Television.
