Telekom Srbija implements Irdeto Control

Irdeto, a global player in digital platform security, has announced that Serbia’s Telekom Srbija has implemented Irdeto Control, the company’s multi-DRM system, to secure their OTT platform serving its TV and broadband customers. With this security in place, Telekom Srbija is able to secure the rights to their premium content.
Irdeto Control is a multi-DRM, MovieLabs-compliant solution that is offered either as a fully managed service, hosted in public clouds or as a licensed software. By choosing the managed solution, Irdeto says that Telekom Srbija benefits from a highly scalable infrastructure to cope effortlessly to meet customer requirements even during high demand events such as major live sport broadcasts. Advanced business policy features further enable Telkom Srbija to offer its customers various subscription models to drive higher revenues.
