SECOM entrusts OKAST to launch OTT services

The SaaS solution for publishing white-label video streaming and live platforms, OKAST, has signed a strategic partnership with the French audiovisual group SECOM. Founded in 2001 by Bruno Lecluse, SECOM publishes 5 television channels with 9 versions distributed in 98 countries, including Museum TV, Museum 4K, myZen TV, myZen 4K, myZen nature, Melody, Melody d’Afrique and also DAB radios: Mélody in France and myZen radio in Ile de France area.

Thanks to the growth of its TV channels worldwide, the group has formed a global partnership with OKAST to deploy OTT services for more than 5 brands on all media. The agreement includes the progressive deployment of OTT services for My Zen TV (Monde), Melody d’Afrique & Melody (French-speaking countries) and in 2021 Museum TV (countries outside France initially), on the web, mobile, mobile applications and TV (Amazon, Fire TV, Roku, Android TV, connected TV). Since mid-November, the first My Zen TV applications are available to users in many countries around the world.

OKAST provides the streaming architecture, the platform and its design, the complete management of the payment systems, the TV & mobile applications as well as the software allowing the piloting of the activity (content management, user CRM, analysis reports, etc.).

Launched 3 years ago, the OKAST offer is growing very fast, notably driven by the boom in online video consumption linked to the coronavirus crisis. With this agreement, OKAST strengthens its status as a leading SaaS solution in the creation of white label platforms for audiovisual groups, offering a flexible and robust tool allowing the deployment of OTT platforms on the web, mobile or TV applications with an extremely competitive time-to-market.
