Never.no extends audience reach with WhatsApp

December 15, 2020

Audience engagement specialist Never.no has updated its cloud-based social and content management platform, Bee-On, featuring the integration of WhatsApp, which enables users to interact and engage with audiences on the app-based messaging platform. The latest features will also include improved graphics timeline management, advanced Twitter trends and a new user-support platform to accompany Never.no’s gold-standard of 24/7 support.

Producers of digital and broadcast content, advertisers and brand managers are constantly looking for new ways to reach and engage with audiences, suggests Never.no. With integration of WhatsApp into the cloud-based platform, content providers can now use Bee-On to interact with audiences, similar to other social networks. Send & receive messages, produce mass-personalised auto-responses, and ingest content, to extend programming or brand campaigns and enable the audience to interact with competitions and polls, privates votes or ballots, and create direct, personalised connections with the audience.

“Different generations are using a wide range of platforms to communicate with friends, loved-ones, colleagues and brands, so we wanted to ensure that Bee-On users were able to interact with their target audience on those very platforms,” advises Scott Davies, Never.no’s CEO. “It was recently reported that WhatsApp is the most used messenger app in the world, with an estimated 2 billion users a month – that’s a huge audience to interact with! Traditionally, broadcasters and brands run competitions via SMS, email and phone-ins, now WhatsApp integration will enhance those campaigns, enabling entrants to easily interact using a platform they use daily, and receive instant personalised responses, en masse,” adds Davies.

Following the recent introduction of Twitter trends to Bee-On, the feature now offers a more in-depth analytical tool enabling users to investigate and manage the most influential Tweets within a seven-day timeline. Quickly surface content with high engagement rates and filter by most shared, engaged or most impressions, and pick out trending topics, to add to Bee-On’s production carousel and publish directly into live or pre-recorded content. Ideal for news, entertainment, factual and chat shows, reports can also be created and used to influence the narrative or include within the content.

Bee-On’s graphics management controls have been re-visioned with an enhanced playout manager system. Moderate and publish content seamlessly with pre-defined and manual playout controls, featuring new intuitive autoplay buttons within the interface. Polling analytics have also been added to the ‘analyse’ tab to manage and export reports into varying formats, such as .pdf for results-based campaigns, or Json to wrap into broadcast graphics.

“Whether it’s live or pre-recorded, we offer full support to our clients throughout the production process,” confirms Ed Abis, Never.no’s General Manager. “Our team have worked tirelessly and developed an easy-to-use support portal that includes training videos, FAQs and trouble-solving instructions for multiple platforms. The latest version of Bee-On has been fine-tuned to help users create content and engage with the audience with ease. We’ve extended audience reach capabilities, and supported producers and brands with the tools to analyse and report on the latest hot topics. Watch out for early 2021, when we’ll be announcing a wider range of messenger integrations,” suggests Abis.
