On February 11th, the new edition of BeActive TV, the first fitness on-demand platform in Poland, owned by Ewa Chodakowska, was launched. The platform has undergone a complete transformation, from a new look to the newest features. This is the result of the work of the BeActive TV team (BeBio), and Insys Video Technologies, an OTT solution provider, cooperating on the project from the very beginning. BeActive TV is based on the Insys Sport solution that allows sharing trainings online with users on any device.
“BeActive TV is the first fitness on-demand platform in Poland. Since its launch in 2017, it has been constantly growing, and the number of users training online is growing month by month. As pioneers, we wanted to create a platform that would give our users even more possibilities. We listen to their suggestions and needs, and the new version of BeActive TV is the answer to them,” – says Lefteris Kavoukis, CEO of BeBio.
“BeActive TV is more than a training platform that enables online exercises during challenges, training sessions, and live events conducted by our trainers. It is also a source of motivation and an educational base. Due to the pandemic, many people do fitness exercises online for the first time. Moreover, the current situation has made physical activity and meditation indispensable tools to overcome stress and insecurity. We know how important it is to do the exercises correctly for health and achieve the desired results, so we have created a new educational section called “Do It Right”. The materials collected there show how to properly perform individual exercises,” – adds Kavoukis.
The new BeActive TV features include adding selected materials to favorites and continue watching, which allows users to watch the training from the moment where it was previously paused. In addition, the platform has an advanced search engine, the ability to promote content using dedicated lists, as well as graphic and video banners. What is more, BeActive TV has an advanced recommendation system, that works on the basis of a form filled in by the user.
“The new BeActive TV provides users with a new experience that will make the service even more intuitive. A feature worth mention is definitely the recommendation mechanism that adjusts the content to the user based on the completed form. Depending on the age, gender, or goal that the user wants to achieve, the website will match the challenges and training to a specific profile,” says Krzysztof Bartkowski, CEO at Insys Video Technologies. “The new BeActive TV reflects what we specialize in. The customer trusted us and chose our company not only as a technology provider but also as a partner responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the new application. This is all thanks to our comprehensive solution Insys Sport, which perfectly meets the needs of sports and training video content owners,” – adds Bartkowski.
The new BeActive TV platform with all-new features is available to users from February 11th via the website, mobile applications for iOS and Android, and Android TV.
