Horse & Country (H&C), the international equestrian sports network, has announced the launch of its premium channel on Allente, the pan-Nordic satellite platform. The service will reach over 1 million of Allente’s TV and broadband customers through DTH, IPTV) and OTT to customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.
Fans of equestrian sports will be able to access a line-up of equestrian sports as well as exclusive training and educational shows, entertainment, and documentary series.
Over the coming weeks, viewers can watch live coverage of the CHIO Rotterdam (NED), an international 5* Nation’s Cup event, exclusive highlights of the CSIO La Baule (FRA), the Longines Global Champions Tour from Stockholm and Paris as well as all the highlights from the Falsterbo International Horse Show. Training and learning programming includes masterclasses with Sweden’s very own eventing superstar Ludwig Svennerstål and a dressage masterclass with German legend Isabelle Werth, while H&C’s exclusive Barn Talk show give viewers an exclusive look behind the scenes at Helgstrand Dressage stables USA division.
Allente was formed following the merger between Viasat Consumer and Canal Digital and is jointly owned by Telenor and NENT Group. Allente delivers a rich line-up of themed channels and premium content across a wide range of interests and topics, spanning Drama, Reality, Sports, Kids and Lifestyle genres.
