Dubai-based pay-TV operator OSN launched its OTT service a month ago but has used a local round-table to outline the benefits of the technology.
CEO Patrick Tillieux and CTO Peter Riz stressed that the new technology was extremely flexible, and able to be improved and evolve with market demands. Also present was David Kovacs, CTO at Budapest-based Supercharge, which helped develop the technology over a 4-month period.
Amongst the highlighted benefits of OSN Streaming are multiple profiles for family and friends, a dedicated segment for kids with parental controls in place and improved search and discovery aspects.
Patrick Tillieux, CEO, OSN added: “OSN prides itself on being a leader in the OTT industry, going above and beyond to offer subscribers an experience that resonates with their entertainment needs. We are committed to curate and create the best content that resonates with our audiences and deliver it through the most seamless way, leveraging the latest technology, intuitive interface anywhere and through any connected device.
