Samba TV, a global player in omniscreen advertising and analytics, has announced two key promotions based in the UK to drive growth and strengthen the company’s global partnerships.
Samba TV is further strengthening its international presence with the promotion of David Barker to Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Partnerships. Having dedicated over 25 years to the advertising and media industry – with the last two years as Managing Director EMEA at Samba TV – Barker’s focus has broadened to spearhead Samba TV’s commercial growth in international markets as well as to lead the global team created to deepen Samba TV relationships with the world’s largest advertising groups.
“It’s been an exciting year for Samba TV and for advertisers in CTV, with our team leaning into advertiser appetite for discovering CTV’s potential to reach an increasingly fragmented audience,” said Barker. “As audience preferences evolve in these markets, it is imperative for the advertising industry to future-proof its targeting, measurement, and analytics capabilities to maximise the performance of advertising across channels.”
In addition, Dan Conneally has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Agency Solutions UK. With more than 15 years managing agency relationships – and four of those at Samba TV – Conneally holds a wealth of experience for building successful strategies across brand segments and global markets.
These UK-based promotions follow recent high-calibre hires in the US including Snap’s Chief Business Officer Jeremi Gorman joining Samba TV’s Board of Directors and former Roku, Amazon, and Google executive, Tim Natividad, brought on for the role of Senior Vice President of Brand and Agency Solutions.
