Griffiths said: “The opportunity to join Ian and the dynamic team at ITN Productions is exciting. Their ability to make programmes that are both popular, creative and informative is impressive and I’m looking forward to helping the charge on the company’s international slate.”

Parrish joins ITN Productions in September with a highly impressive track record working for all the major UK broadcasters producing and directing a raft of popular documentaries, factual entertainment formats, current affairs and lifestyle features.

She said: “It’s a very exciting time to be joining one of the most thriving and trusted production companies in the business. I’m looking forward to working on such a diverse slate and helping to develop and craft a range of compelling, characterful and high-quality shows.”

Parrish is currently producing the revamped 20-part hit series of Married at First Sight for E4. Last summer she produced Inside Poundland, ITNP’s hit two-parter for Channel 4.
