Channelbox on Freeview launches new FAST channels

Freeview OTT platform Channelbox has extended its line up on the platform with a number of FAST channels.
New TV channels include stand-up comedy channel NextUp Comedy, canine focused Fido TV, gourmet channel Bite and sports offering Billiard TV.
Broadcasters are now able to monetise their content on Freeview OTT the same way as on other OTT platforms – based on the number of ad impressions rather than channels’ ratings. This is also beneficial to consumers, says Channelbox, as the ad load is reduced to 8-10 min per hour.
The new FAST channels are available on Freeview slot 271.
