CSSA, a national supplier dedicated to utility-based broadband service providers, has announced a partnership with personalized smart services pioneer, Plume. This new collaboration is designed to enable service providers operating in the utilities space to monetize smart homes and small businesses by providing access to new services that leverage broadband to provide – among many benefits – flawless, self-optimizing Wi-Fi connectivity, AI-enhanced cybersecurity, and unparalleled customer experiences.

As an authorized partner of Plume’s SaaS experience management platform, CSSA is licensed to market Plume’s best-in-class digital subscriber suites to service providers nationally:

For consumers: HomePass brings subscribers a new bundle of smart home services featuring flawless whole-home adaptive Wi-Fi, advanced parental & access controls, rock-solid cybersecurity, state-of-the-art Wi-Fi motion detection and more.

For small businesses: WorkPass delivers an intelligent workplace services suite that enables Small Business Owners (SBOs) to meet their networking, cybersecurity, guest analytics, business insights, marketing and advertising and employee management needs.

For service providers: Haystack provides an unparalleled back-end data prediction and analytics suite that is field-proven to significantly reduce operational costs and cut subscriber churn.

Mobile apps: Plume’s highly-rated HomePass and WorkPass apps – available for iOS® and Android™ – can be readily customized with the service provider’s branding, and put the subscriber in complete control of personalizing their services and digital experience.

CSSA will also act as a supplier of third-party OpenSync enabled Wi-Fi devices. All OpenSync-powered customer premise equipment (CPE) – including gateways, routers and extenders – can coexist on the same home network, irrespective of Wi-Fi generation or supplier, with plug and play simplicity, and provide out-of-the-box access to Plume’s cloud-based subscriber services. By choosing OpenSync, service providers gain access to wide portfolio of CPE which can resolve supply chain issues such as silicon shortages.

“By our Association joining together with Plume, we are now able to bring their best-in-class whole-home Wi-Fi software to our members and customers. Broadband service providers have been looking for seamless, reliable, user-optimized and intelligent tools that their customers expect in 2021 and beyond. Plume delivers these tools in spades, improving the Wi-Fi experience and saving service providers significant expenses such as reducing truck rolls,” said John Brown, President & CEO at CSSA. “We are excited to support our industry in deploying Plume’s suite of cloud-based device management software and services.”

“Plume is thrilled to support this new partnership with CSSA and expand the availability of our SaaS experience platform into the rapidly expanding utilities sector,” said Bob Lamb, Sr. Director of Business Development, Plume. “In today’s modern age, where homes and businesses are more reliant than ever on ubiquitous, secure connectivity, it is imperative that service providers deliver an ever-expanding set of highly personalized experiences that meet subscribers’ evolving needs. Whether it’s flawless Wi-Fi, or AI-enhanced cybersecurity, Plume’s platform and services combined with CSSA’s world-class distribution, bring utility-based service providers a truly unique solution to increase ARPU and make significant operational savings.”
