BBC Sounds launches in Sonos app
December 9, 2021
BBC Sounds has launched in the Sonos app. Listeners with Sonos speakers in the UK will now be able to discover and listen tp BBC radio, music mixes and podcasts using the Sonos app for smartphones and tablets.
BBC Sounds already has an average weekly audience of 3.6 million across mobile, TV, website and voice activated devices, and says this latest launch will make listening even easier.
Jonathan Wall, Controller of BBC Sounds, commented: “We want BBC Sounds to be available wherever and whenever people want to listen, and this is another way to make sure people can enjoy our audio however they choose. From firm favourites to new discoveries, we’re giving our listeners even easier access to our brilliant selection of radio, music mixes and podcasts.”
BBC Sounds is available to preview in the Sonos app immediately, and will be officially released over the coming weeks for listeners in the UK.
