OneWeb has signed up Alberta-based Network Innovations as a distribution partner to serve Canada “and across the globe” to benefit essential government and enterprise customers.

OneWeb’s partnership with Network Innovations will focus on expanding bandwidth for government and enterprise markets. Utilising the power of OneWeb’s network, Network Innovations can augment its engineered solutions by adding low-latency services.

Network Innovations is a global player in connecting people, places, and things to meet the unique needs of government, defence, maritime, enterprise, and IoT customers. The company has grown over three decades to maintain a network of partners operating globally throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Dylan Browne, Head of Government Business Line at OneWeb, said: “We are excited to be partnering with Network Innovations and its team of former defense and intelligence professionals to introduce OneWeb’s government solutions into its existing customer frame-contracts. The team at Network Innovations are experts in leading an agile and sustainable business, and together we will ensure that our customers are well-positioned to adopt emerging technologies and utilise service, not only across Canada but the rest of the world.”

Andrew Burdall, President NI-Americas at Network Innovations, added: “We are delighted to be expanding our critical communications using OneWeb’s LEO services. We look forward to bringing our customers quality connectivity using OneWeb’s low latency and QoS capability as we work together to provide the latest in managed networks, interoperability and field services. OneWeb’s proven technology and focus on scalable solutions will complement our own critical communications solutions as we deliver on our goal of allowing our customers to succeed through accessible internet access, whatever their mission.”
