Whip Media reveals most anticipated shows in Feb

February is shaping up to be a big month for TV fans, with a handful of big name shows returning and debuting.
Whip Media, leveraging the viewing habits of TV Time app users, the world’s largest TV and movie tracking app, is helping shed some light on the shows fans can’t wait to see. The LA-based company’s February Anticipation Report breaks down the five most anticipated new and returning shows of the month in the US.
Let’s focus on the series premieres: The new show TV Time users are looking forward to the most? That’s Reacher, the crime thriller based on the popular Jack Reacher book series. The series – starring Alan Ritchson as Reacher, a charismatic ex-military officer who cares about justice – is set to hit Prime Video on February 4th.
Power Book: IV: Force, the upcoming spin-off of Power, is the second-most anticipated show of the month. That series will be premiering on February 6th on Starz. And speaking of major spin-offs, Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla will be coming out on February 25th. The new historical drama is the sequel to Vikings, which ran on History (and on Prime Video for the second half of its final season) from 2013 to 2020. Vikings: Valhalla grabs the bronze medal in Whip’s ranker.
Hulu also made the list at number 4 with Pam & Tommy, the bio-drama miniseries based on the romance between Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and actress Pamela Anderson. The show, set for an eight-episode run, will focus on the period when the famous couple’s sex tape became public in 1995. Seth Rogen – on top of developing the show alongside writing partner Evan Goldberg – will appear in the series next to stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan.
Netflix’s Inventing Anna, the latest series from Shonda Rhimes, grabbed Whip’s 5th spot on its report. The show, based on a New York City conwoman, will be led by Ozark star Julia Garner.
