Stellify Media scores a recommission and a network premiere

BBC One Northern Ireland has recommissioned the award-winning Belfast-based indie Stellify Media, for a second series of Farm To Feast: Best Menu Wins – the first farm to fork cookery programme. The series presented by Eamonn Holmes with Michelin star chef Danni Barry and food critic Joris Minne as judges is set to return to BBC One Northern Ireland later this year.
Farm To Feast: Best Menu Wins is a cookery competition celebrating award-winning produce from farms and fisheries across Northern Ireland. Seven amateur cooks move into a castle in Fermanagh, where they live with and compete against each other, until one is crowned the eventual winner.
The first season of Farm to Feast aired last September on BBC One NI and dropped weekly on i-player and this season will now get a network premiere on BBC One in the Spring.
Kieran Doherty, Joint Managing Director, Stellify Media said: “We are delighted that BBC One NI have asked us to make a second series. What makes this series different from other cooking competitions is the judges showing the food provenance of the key ingredients by taking the viewer to the farmers – it’s the first farm to fork cookery competition.”
Matthew Worthy, Joint Managing Director, Stellify Media added “Series one really engaged with the viewers. The competition was by no means a straight-forward cook off. Each of the contestants had to come up with an enticing menu before they could even demonstrate their cooking prowess to the judges.”
