February 22, 2022

Paul Palermo, a versatile veteran of more than two decades in the cable, telecommunications and technology industries, has been named Vice President of Business Development for Nrby, the Manchester-based leader in dynamic location intelligence for service provider operations announced today.

Palermo, who spent eight years with ARRIS and four years driving North American sales efforts for Concurrent Technology and Vecima Networks, will be responsible for accelerating adoption of Nrby’s location intelligence platform to harness the power of effective, real-time digital workflow management for cable, telco, and wireless service providers.

Nrby’s location intelligence platform is transforming field service, operations, and customer service teams from being reactive to proactive. Nrby gives operations teams automated, 360-degree views of completed and needed maintenance activities, enabling network operators to realize organizational efficiency, decrease operating costs, drive recurring revenue, and increase customer satisfaction.

“Staying ahead of the rate of growth and demand on today’s broadband and communications networks is critical to maintaining today’s social and economic systems,” said Kurt Dobbins, CEO and Founder of Nrby. “Paul Palermo’s extensive experience across business development, sales, and product management enable him to work with customers and partners to create solutions that optimize network uptime and consumer satisfaction.”

Most recently Director of Sales, North America for Vecima Networks, Palermo previously had served as Sales Director – North America, and Director, Product Management for Concurrent, and Director of Product Management for Espial. He spent most of his eight years with ARRIS as Director, Business Development & Product Marketing and also held various positions with Thompson, Inc., Enrev, and Philips.

“As the market need for more bandwidth continues to create new demands for service providers, the need for better, faster execution in delivering and managing these networks continues to increase,” said Palermo. “Nrby’s SmartPin™ technology and digitized processes are driving ROI by giving service providers the insights they need to make data driven decisions and address problems before they impair the consumer experience.”
