Rusty Quill Podcasts takes 48 wins at Audio Verse Awards

April 25, 2022

Rusty Quill, the independent podcast network, announces that it won 48 awards for its podcasts at the prestigious 2021 Audio Verse Awards announced on April 17th. These were shared between both Rusty Quill original productions and third-party productions on the RQ Network.

Rusty Quill won 24 awards for its original productions: The Magnus Archives, Stellar Firma and Rusty Quill Gaming with Network Shows; Milkman of St. Gaffs, Old Gods of Appalachia, The Silt Verses and The Town Whispers winning a further 24 awards between them.

The Audio Verse Awards are designed to celebrate the greatest people and productions in immersive audio fiction around the world, shining a spotlight on a variety of new content and styles that have dazzled listeners in the last 12 months.

“To win almost a third of all this year’s Audio Verse awards is a wonderful achievement for Rusty Quill. We wish to congratulate all our original content teams for garnering such critical acclaim on the back of their 150+ million IAB2.1 certified downloads to date and are especially excited to see all our partners on the RQ Network getting the critical recognition they deserve alongside other luminaries in the industry,” says Alexander J Newall, CEO, Rusty Quill. “These awards are the best possible proof that not only is audio fiction a flourishing part of the media landscape but that both Rusty Quill and its network partners continue to lead the industry with the best audio storytelling in the world.”

This success at the Audio Verse awards comes hot on the heels of a highly prestigious Webby Honouree mention for Scripted Fiction in Podcasting for The Magnus Archives alongside a Best Audio Award at the 2022 British Fantasy Awards and a slate of similar wins in previous years.
