Amagi taps marketing exec Di Giacomo to be CMO

Amagi, a global leader in cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV, has announced the appointment of Marco Di Giacomo as its Chief Marketing Officer. Marco has more than 25 years of experience across the technology industry, having held executive roles in engineering, marketing, product, and P&L roles in leading organisations such as IBM, Bain, McKinsey, Microsoft, Cisco, Atlassian, Evernote and Verizon.

Di Giacomo brings with him a deep technical background in AI/ML, ad-tech, and cloud technology. He has extensive marketing experience across product-led growth, self-serve, partner-led, and sales-led go-to-market models, and a track record of engineering scalable business growth working across all functions.

Recently, the company raised $95 million in an unicorn round.
