Peacock reveals Originals scripted slate for H2 2022

Peacock has announced the premiere date schedule for a number Originals scripted slate for H2 2022, including all-new programming from upcoming dramas, comedies and kids titles.

Peacock Original series include:

    • Trigger Point, a six-part drama thriller from Jed Mercurio’s HTM Television, starring Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester.  
    • Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem, the spin-off of the beloved NBC soap, returns for a second chapter starring fan-favorite cast members Kristian Alfonso, Peter Reckell, Eileen Davidson and a special appearance by Loretta Devine.  
    • Comedic thriller series The Resort, starring William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti, from writer and executive producer Andy Siara.  
    • From BAFTA winner Peter Kosminsky, The Undeclared War tracks a leading team of analysts at GCHQ as they ward off a series of attacks along the invisible lines of cyberwarfare.   
    • Inspired by Dolly Alderton’s internationally bestselling memoir, Everything I Know About Love gives an unflinching deep dive into bad dates, heartaches and humiliations and begs the question: can platonic love survive romantic love as we grow up?  
    • Matthew Fox’s return to television in Last Light from MGM International TV Productions, also starring Joanne Froggatt and based on Alex Scarrow’s international best-selling novel.  
    • Supernatural YA drama series Vampire Academy, from Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre and based on the best-selling book series.  
    • From DreamWorks Animation, season four of Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky bring the rescue riders back for all new adventures.  
    • Nick Antosca’s true-crime limited drama series A Friend of the Familywhich is inspired by the riveting true story of Jan Broberg’s multiple abductions, starring Anna Paquin, Jake Lacy, Colin Hanks, Lio Tipton, Mckenna Grace, and Hendrix Yancey.  
    • Season two of returning YA fan-favorite series One Of Us Is Lying which returns following the gripping season one cliff-hanger.  
    • Season two of The Capture will again question if we can really believe what we see. Escalating from the CCTV thriller of series one, the six-part run features ‘invisible’ assassins, the terrifying rise of deepfake technology, the ever-growing tension between government and Big Tech, and corruption at the heart of the British media.  
    • New crime drama The Missing (wt) from prolific producer David E. Kelley and based on the international best-selling novel The Missing File.  
    • Comedy series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin starring Adam Devine, Flula Borg, Sarah Hyland, Lera Abova and Jameela Jamil, based on the Universal Pictures Film series that ignited a cultural phenomenon.  
    • Irreverent is a fish out of water crime thriller starring Colin Donnell, as a criminal forging the life of a reverend.  
    • The Best Man: The Final Chapters which reunites the star-studded original cast from the hit films, including Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long and Harold Perrineau.
