August 16, 2022
AE Live, a global provider of graphics and data solutions, has announced the appointment of Simar Ghangas as Head of Commercial for APAC, in which he will be responsible for growing AE Live’s position in the region.
Ghangas brings over 10 years of experience in sales and business development management roles, specialising on the strategic growth of companies. His career started at Haymarket Media Group where he spent over three years in various sales roles, in both London and Singapore. He joins AE Live from Stats Perform, where as VP for South East Asia, he was largely responsible for the growth of the business in the region, overseeing, developing and executing effective business strategies.
Ghangas commented: “The idea of being able to work on a global stage by working on multi-regional and potentially global story-telling projects to enhance the sporting experiences of sports fans was too good to turn down. The sports fan and community in APAC, in general, is now primed for even better sporting experiences and I am looking forward to helping partners deliver these experiences through the services we provide.”
Alastair Robbins, Commercial Director at AE Live, added: “Simar’s experience in the sports data space, combined with his commercial expertise, makes him the perfect fit to lead AE Live’s business development in the region. We are also looking forward to utilising his skills to help shape the ongoing growth strategy for the business.”
