WFDiF extends cooperation with Redge Technologies

Redge Technologies has extended its contract with the Documentary and Feature Film Studios (known as WFDiF) by winning a tender for providing CDN and hosting services for the 35mm.online platform, which WFDiF owns and manages. 35mm.online has been running on the Redge Media for VoD solution as end-to-end deployment since 2021. Lately the portal won a statuette of the Polish Film Institute in the category ‘Innovation or technological solution’ at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

35mm.online presents the heritage of the Polish cinematography. It offers the unique collection of nearly 4,000 digitised and reconstructed film materials featuring classics of Polish cinematography from the last few decades, films of the Polish documentary school, materials of the Polish Film Chronicle from 1945-1994 and animated films. All videos presented on the 35mm.online platform are available globally in full HD and digitally reconstructed versions. Lately the 35mm.online streaming platform received the prestigious Award of the Polish Film Institute (known as PISF) in the category ‘Innovation or technological solution’ during the 47th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

The deployment of 35mm.online has been based on Redge Media for VoD – the complete solution that provides dedicated UX for long form content owners enabling them to extend the audience. It combines security and accessibility of the content with flexibility and scalability tailored to businesses of any scale in a fast and affordable manner.
