Eutelsat reveals share decision

Shareholders holding 62 per cent of Eutelsat’s shares voted to take the company’s ‘Scrip’ issue of new shares instead of drawing down the offered €0.93 per share dividend.

The 18,381,330 new shares will be issued and delivered on December 16th. They will carry rights to the dividend for the financial year starting July 1st 2022 and will rank pari passu with existing shares from the issue date. The new shares will be listed on Euronext Paris on th same day; December 16th 2022.

The share issue will have the effect of increasing Eutelsat Communications’ share capital as of December 16th to 248,926,325 ordinary shares with a par value of €1 each.

Cash dividends will also be paid to shareholders who declined the Scrip offer on December 16th, for a total of €81 million.
